​​Stephen is a screenwriter with a passion for crime and comedy.
So, two passions really.
Why crime? For a start, he is an ex-cop. It helps. Especially the weird stuff. Like him having to spend countless hours over many years spent in autopsies.
He's also been a Diplomat, taught English in Japan, spent time in opium fields as an aid-worker, developed Government policy, and deployed overseas following natural disasters.
As an actor, Stephen excels in comedic roles (Spit, Young Rock, God's Favorite Idiot) and his training in comedic acting naturally draws him to writing comedy.

His credits span all formats including features, series and Web-series.

Despite his passion for crime and comedy, Stephen has also written rom-com, domestic noir, suspense and children's adventure.
